Our task
With software being the core of their business the manager of ecratum approached us to perform an examination of their internal development life cycle and to improve the user-experience, design, and development processes in their company.
Our solution
In order to ensure long-term benefit for ecratum we agreed upon a continuous training approach. Rather than just doing a one time inspection and a three day training course, we now visit the team once a month for an entire working day.
We discuss current issues in the workflow process, look at usability issues, and train the team regarding information architecture and how to design for a good user experience. Application reviews and usability tests with actual software users are planned.
The result
The monthly training day gives the necessary continuity and increases internal awareness for the importance of the topics. In addition, ecratum benefits from the following:
