Strengthening the international brand
World Vision is an international non-profit organisation which helps transform the lives of the world's poorest children and families in nearly 100 countries with donations and child sponsorships. We were responsible for the relaunch of the website of WORLD VISION Germany with an emphasis on strengthening the international corporate identity.

Our task
We were responsible for performing usability tests and defining the concept for the new interface as well as the screen design. The project benefited extensively from this holistic approach. After conducting the usability tests we gained substantial insight into the users' needs and expectations of a non-governmental organisation's website. We then looked at the business strategy of World Vision and defined the overall site concept in a two day workshop together with the client. This approach ensured that both the users' needs as well as the organisation's goals were taken into account. After the definition of the site structure and interaction design we defined the new design concept. The previous site did not cohere with the international corporate identity, and it was our task to create a visual language and design which strengthen the international corporate identity.
Our solution
Promoting aid through conviction and not pity - images create immediate contact with the user. Images inspire a willingness to donate. Usability and clearly structured content guide the user directly to the completion of a donation. Detailed information strengthens the trust and attests to tradition and credibility. "Usability in the service of a truly worthy cause."
The result
The relaunch was such a success that already Austria, Italy, and Romania have decided to also use our design and concept.
Since the successful relaunch we have supported World Vision with several promotional activities such as, for example, founding the Blogger Day for child sponsorship. The Blogger Day increased the awareness of World Vision as an organisation.
