Social Community Launch

The online network Zeeya.net provides college and university students contact to other students worldwide. We managed the project from the first idea to the launch.

Our task

Since this was a start-up company we had the opportunity to support our client throughout the entire branding process of the social community. We were responsible for finding a suitable name and defining both the online and offline brand. In addition we were responsible for the concept, design and implementation of the community platform.

Our solution

The brand should be targeted especially towards students and engage them in a fun and friendly way. Regarding the user interface it was very important to us to design an easy to use, fun, and uncluttered interface which supports retention time via cross-linking.

The platform is implemented with Java in a 3-tier architecture in order to support easy scalability and maintenance.

The result

The chosen brand name soon became a catch phrase among Zeeya.net users and proved to be highly successful - "zeeya tomorrow". The zeekers - the figures - became quickly liked and support the brand identification. The platform itself supports easy communication and interaction with other members in 6 languages.
